The heat island effect will continue to ravage Phoenix as there’s no end in sight to the urban sprawl. It’s a tragic state of affairs. The lifestyle Americans expect is not sustainable, especially in a desert, yet nobody seems willing to make a change.

Having a label for your condition is a gratifying and important step, congratulations on finally figuring that out. Once I had a label for the source of my pain and problems, I felt I crossed a mental threshold where I could put it in a box and contain it. It was no longer an overwhelming question mark floating around. I hope this is a first step in many more improvements for you!

There are programs such as CreamInstaller that can be used for DLCs.

Personally, I always buy the base games, especially for more independent studios such as Paradox. But the combined DLC costs are unbelievable.

Great survey, I’m excited about some of the community options. I would love something akin to r/BuyItForLife - a genuine place to find products based on the feedback of real people. In particular, low waste products (maybe that fits in the sustainability category?)

Just to be clear, it’s the HQ for the southern region’s Russian ministry of defense. Not the entire thing

Ablations are definitely not a cure all, but they help break the pain cycle. Before I had my ablations, my pain would persist even when resting, eg lying down - now my muscles are actually able to catch a break. This gives me the chance to work on exercises and other long term investments into my health.

If you’re in the US, you’ll probably undergo trial shots first, where they inject you with lidocaine or some other painkiller. You’ll be able to tell right away if it helps. I hope you have the opportunity to give that a try!

Tiring is a great word for it. Fighting for people to listen takes so much emotional capital, it’s so sad that it has to be that way. But once you find a good specialist, it will all be worth it!

Definitely look for other doctors! I went to a rheumatologist and they ran blood tests, found nothing, and said I had fibromyalgia. I was not amused. There are actual doctors who study pain, see if you can find one!

That’s crazy :(. Have they thought about trying ablations? I’ve had great success with them.
