That headline sounds really weird until you read more. Basically his lawyers were paid one lump sum by the state, incentivizing spending as little time as possible on the case.
I expect any VP should be ready to serve as long as they are VP. That’s like, the biggest role of a VP other than as a tie breaker in the Senate.
Pregnancy comes with medical risk to the mother. Restricting abortion access is a clear violation of the 14th amendment.
Abortion is healthcare.
