Ring of furw ride at my local amusement park blew a hydraulic line several times a season. If this happened at the wrong point in the ride it get stuck upside down instead of coasting back to the start position. As long as everything is locked correctly there’s zero chance of someone falling out. But there’s stories where they weren’t and people fell out. Carnies, go figure.
