To be fair, the MC5 kicked out the jams way before they were ever pumped up by technotronic. And in the 1990’s Inspectah Deck of the Wu-Tang Clan terrorized the jams like troops in Pakistan, so it’s not as if we’ve forgotten about the jam(s). It’s just time that some other artists took custody of the jam(s), and treated them in a way they see fit.
