We hit a record here in Seattle yesterday and are likely to tie one today. It’s usually in the high 70s at this time. It will be around 95°F today. Tomorrow will be hotter and likely set another record. Get to a cooling center if you don’t have AC. I honestly do not recall cooking centers being a thing prior to for our five years ago.
He got $56 billion. Pretty sure he can afford the $7 billion. Is it a requirement to have your nose directly in Elon’s ass before you invest in Tesla? I don’t recall that being a thing when I had my shares.
I bought the alpha version back in 2015. I was happy with my $15 purchase then and they have continually updated the game. Sure, it has taken a while to “complete” the game but I never really even expected a story mode.
I do kind of agree with the sentiment that games so not necessarily need to be constantly worked on. Another game I think of is No Man’s Sky. Yes, it was a shallow and incomplete game on release. But they kept working on it until it was far beyond what would be considered complete. And they are still doing pretty major updates. While I do appreciate it because they have added some great content, I also think they could call it good and possibly put their developers onto a new game. There is also the risk that a major update screws up the game that people thought they bought.
The whole thing is a legal fight between two utterly shitty groups, TicketMaster and scalpers. Here’s hoping they somehow both lose.
That was my take. On the one hand, fuck TicketMaster. But on the other hand, fuck scalpers. I wish venues would only allow a max of like 20 tickets being sold to any one entity. That way Ticket Master dies and scalpers are only able to make a little bit of money.
Losing the app means that people can’t change the color of the light on the shoe. You can still do all the other shit manually.
That said, I feel like companies should be required to open source shit like this once they drop support for it. Otherwise stuff like this adds to the mountains of e-waste poisoning the planet.
