Well golly gee, I guess that means GMO crops that are bred to survive glyphosate and other pesticides must be the same thing then!

All I see here is an attempt to amalgamate GMO’s and selective breeding to manipulate public perception… which leads to higher profits.

Ok… but the reason why people don’t like GMOs is because they’re bred to be doused in pesticides. They also can cross-pollinate with non-GMO’s to create non viable seeds among other things.

Only half of the world’s croplands are used to grow crops that are consumed by humans directly. We use a lot of land to grow crops for biofuels and other industrial products, and an even bigger share is used to feed livestock.

Exactly, thank you. If you build a 6-lane highway in Montana it’s not going to magically fill up with traffic, thus one can conclude that context is missing from the Reddit-tier explanation of induced demand or that the entire idea of induced demand is wrong.
