Not really. The only time I ever go to reddit is if I want info about a really niche subject and the post is usually several years old anyway.

This is why I haven’t seen “The Irishman” yet. I like Scorsese, it has a great cast, and I’ve heard good things about the movie, but I can’t find the time to sit down for three and a half hours.

Between work, kids, and just generally trying to keep on top of stuff it leaves little time to commit to a film that long. Recently I’ve been just watching series’. It’s easy to watch an hour long episode, or two, than to strap in for a really long movie.

I have a long list of movies I’ve been “meaning to catch up on”, but the trend of longer runtimes is making that list longer and longer.

That sucks. Usually poison sumac only grows in very wet areas. I had a dendrology professor who said (paraphrasing) “you’ll know if it’s poison sumac if your feet are wet”. Biology never follows rules though, so who knows.

Yes, I know you can pause movies on your TV, and sometimes that’s how I watch them. I think it takes something away from the movie by watching it in segments, but maybe that’s just me.

It’s really crazy that the “somebody other than Trump” campaign approach has endured for ~4 years.

I don’t have the words to describe how far the credibility of the United States has fallen in my lifetime.

I remember when Dan Quayle misspelled potato, and poof, his career was over. Now you have a criminal reality TV star running for reelection.

Everyone working a job full time deserves a living wage. That payment needs to be equivalent to whatever the cost of living is in their area.

It’s no secret that wages have been stagnating and the top level employees, investors, and CEOs have been benefiting.

We really need wealth equally, or at least something more equal than we have now.
