I am thoroughly enjoying it right now. Honestly one of the first Final Fantasy narratives I’ve been deeply invested in for a while. It somehow manages to be over the top but still feel grounded enough to connect with the characters.

I’ve also been playing FF16 recently and been loving it. I can’t really explain what makes it so good because in many ways it just isn’t a great game. But what it does well, it’s doing really well. It’s just so enjoyable to play.

I love playing up the idea that I’m being an evil DM hell bent on a TPK which my players always manage to overcome. They’re all good friends and know that’s not what I’m really like but it almost becomes my own in game character. This meta BBEG they are constantly fighting
