It’s because there are very few new users joining superstonk. Another way to look at it, there are very few new people learning about Gamestop and DRS. When Gamestop first caught fire on wsb there were 4-5 million members of that subreddit. Then it shifted to a sub that has 890k members, superstonk. Then there was a brief shift to the drsyourgme subreddit, but that was banned / censored, which had about 10-15k members. Now this lemmy has started, off reddit, outside of the censorship, there’s a much better chance of introducing new people to Gamestop. Alternatively, and what I think is the best way, is to tell your friends and family! The total DRS count is 76 million. If everyone gets 1 person they know to DRS, the floats locked up. We’re all armed with all the information we need.

This is a fantastic opportunity to increase interest in Gamestop and DRS. DRS has slowed down because the user growth rate on superstonk has plateaued. Imagine millions of people watching this movie and then being open to the idea of investing in Gamestop. It’s the perfect opportunity to talk about DRS and increase interest to a vast number of new individuals. This movie will be in a space that superstonk mods and shills have zero power / influence in. It’s fucking amazing this movie is coming out.
