I started running in Feb again after taking a year off (I was busy with my 2 kids). It’s so great to get back in the groove. I don’t have time to commit to longer distances, but I get a solid 30 minutes, 5 days a week in the mornings. I’m starting to get faster and go further. It’s amazing how easily it can be to lose all progress. When I started again I was struggling to do a mile at 11min pace! Now I’m doing 3mi at 9 min
I tried a little bit of his exercises. I never had bad knees, but would occasionally get aches. All of that has gone away since I started running and doing his exercises. I don’t know what helped my knees, but I think strengthening them does a lot of good. Running is great for that as long as you’re not heel striking
