For buying and selling things I will still use Reddit subs due to their size (PC hardware, watches, EDC items, etc). For general discussion, I’m heading back to specific forums and will definitely give Lemmy a go.
Mostly play indie top-down retro stuff like Core Keeper, but the occasional bout of Halo MCC/Infinite, RDR2, Wasteland 3, and a few others.
If the new Battlebit release anti-cheat functions properly under Proton then I’ll be picking that up.
Installing the front cover looks like an absolute bear of a job. I’m very much a tinkering type of guy, but any time I see glued screens I get nervous.
This is a shame, because I’d adore the transparent purple case.
As long as you don’t live in Flint, USA water is generally safe to drink from the tap.
Pixel 7. I bought it with the intention of flashing it with Graphene OS or something along those lines but I enjoy the Pixel features so much that I’ve left it stock.
It was! A sapphire crystal replacement is the last (or next, anyway) thing to do. The mineral glass has a lot of scratches and chunks out of it even though they don’t really show in the picture. This is the watch I wear when I can’t bring myself to beat up one of my autos.
The titanium kit only took about ten minutes to install. Everything screwed together for the bezel and the bracelet has spring pin links.
The crystal replacement is a little more involved but still largely consists of removing the screen module and then pressing the crystal out and gluing the new one back in. It’s not very difficult, especially compared to servicing a mechanical watch.
