Aye
I’m still an Aye.
I already have 4 accounts on different instances, which is useful while Beehaw does their defederation thing. Part of this decentralized federation is that each instance gets to make it’s own rules on how it operates. Why should members of one instance get to make all the rules for another one?
If someone wants to make an account and participate in the growth of this particular instance then they’re already vested in this community.
In another thread someone mentioned sorting by Top-Day to get a better lost until the bug fix. It works for me.
I didn’t know about it until I checked Beehaw. It’s easy enough to block the community so I can’t see it, but I would rather it not be here. TheDonald and The Agora feel like polar opposite ideals.
I’m for defederation as well. If I could block an entire instance easily I would, but that isn’t an option yet.
If anyone wants to view the content on that instance, make an account. It’s easy and free. There is no limit to how many instances you can join if you want to.
If that gets verified as true it will be exciting to see how many people don’t want to put their personal content on the platform.
Does anyone still go to those other websites that watermark their content like ifunny.com or some place dumb like that?
