I think the real reason, originally at least, was plausible deniability.
There was a ton of “look she’s only the vice president, you can’t blame her for Biden’s unwavering support for genocide,” early on.
At this point she’s made it clear that Biden is governing exactly how she would anyways, so I don’t know why they still keep up the charade, maybe inertia? Election is less than a month out anyways.
Yeah I’ve seen some content out in more mainstream social media focused on getting the libs to be more civil with the anti-genocide crowd and getting them to forgive us but I don’t know that I can forgive them.
Gambit rules, also notable recently for making the hogs absolutely fume when he, a series set in the 90s, dresses like a typical hunk from back in the day with a cutoff middrift shirt.
Even if you have hard evidence they’ll often refuse to do anything.
One of my relatives had her car stolen and the cops told her they would almost certainly not find it until it was abandoned (not sure why it’s so hard to keep an eye out for “model X in color Y with no tags and/or 123ABC tags”) and when it was abandoned and they brought it back it was full of personal effects (skateboarding stuff and clothes mostly) including a bunch of court documents, with names on them, for the same dude.
When she told the cops about this and pointed to his public facebook profile which was mostly about skateboarding, they told her that all of that stuff could have been stolen too so it was impossible to investigate based on the effects left in the car.
American cops don’t solve crimes they just protect rich people’s property and shoot innocent people.
Most important? Any full service restaurant, it’s literally their only wages- their paycheck is mostly just a record of their 2.13/hour being used entirely to pay taxes.
Similarly, anyone delivering food to your home- they’re getting paid slightly better than a server probably, but are putting wear and tear on a personal vehicle and effectively net very little before tips.
