I prioritize ethics over optics even if it means facing criticism.

Sharing my honest beliefs, welcoming constructive debates, and embracing the potential for evolving viewpoints. Independent thinker navigating through conversations without allegiance to any particular side.

Agreed. Unless you can immediately tell it’s a piece of junk, just buy the cheapest one you can find. You’re only going to break or wear out the tools you use the most, so it makes sense to replace those with high-quality ones. There’s no point in spending big bucks on something like a Snap-on socket set when realistically there are only about five sizes you’ll use frequently. Once the ratchet wears out, it can be replaced with a good one, which will still be perfectly compatible with the cheap sockets and extensions. My cheapo drill bit set is a good example of this; it still has 75% of the original bits that I’ve barely used, and the rest are Bosch drill bits.

A calorie deficit is literally the only way to burn fat. Your body won’t touch its fat deposits if it’s getting enough energy from the food you eat. Working out has a limited effect on the amount of fat you burn. It’s all about how much you eat. If visible abs are what you’re after, that means dieting so that your body fat percentage gets low enough. The reason we lift while dieting is to preserve the muscle mass. By just dieting you’re going to lose both fat and muscle.

Fat burns evenly throught your entire body. It’s pretty much impossible to focus that on any specific part.

It’s not the winter wonderland many foreigners think it is, unless you go to Lapland. Most of the winter is just wet, cold, dark, slippery, and absolutely miserable. It’s dark when you leave for work and it’s dark when you get back home.

Fighting back is not guranteed to lead to success but being a spineless loser who lets people walk over them is guranteed to not get you there.

Went to a job interview for a position I didn’t want. It was the most honest interview I’ve ever given and surprisingly didn’t get the place. Ended up starting my own business instead and while it’s too early to tell wether it’s going to be succesfull or not, I’m still glad I tried. Had I got that job I wouldn’t have.
