FreshRSS: RSS reader (TinyTTS is also decent, but the developer is kind of a richard)
Kanboard: For keeping track of all my client projects (though you can use it for any sort of project tracking)
Nextcloud: It’s pretty full featured, but I only really use it for shared calendars and contacts so that I’m not hosting on Microsoft or Google.
Exactly. Suck the early adopter users dry just in case lemmy doesn’t get huge. I mean, yes there was dev time for this app, but of importing your syncreddit press into this app is any indication, it wasn’t a rewrite but merely an adaptation of API.
This is most definitely the dev seeing how much he can milk early on. Good for him if it works. I mean the app framework is amazing, don’t get me wrong. But not at these prices.
The closest thing I ever used that backed up actual hardware was a Playstation 1 card reader. At the time I was backing up game saves and porting them to the ps2 for emulation or something i forget exactly.
It was wild to do something like that on your computer back then. A Sony memory card in your PC? Bonkers.
Crazy how when it updated this morning, pay to remove ads was 12.99. I went back in and it’s now 19.99. Crazy.
it was 12.99 for a hot second if you grabbed it when it first went live. I was thinking about it, but then saw it went to 19.99 just recently. Imma gonna wait.
