I don’t actually remember the first visual novel I’ve played, but it was probably some obscure mobile otome game that I’m never going to encounter again. The first VN I’ve played and remembered by name is Nekopara, though.

Here are screenshots of some of my previous colonies, although please keep in mind that they’re loaded with the wrong modlist so a few things might be missing or look a bit weird.

In this case, mostly with slave labour. As long as the workforce is abundant enough, big fields shouldn’t be an issue.

I personally recommend Mountain of Faith (Touhou 10). It doesn’t have any complex extra mechanics, and you can also buy it digitally on Steam which is a plus.
