When reading YouTube statistics, I sometimes can’t realize how huge that Website is.

Meta has no reason to interact with the Fediverse but personal gain. Maybe that can overlap with our goals of free speech and information someday, but defending a company right now and marketing for them, as if we need them as passive marketing, when they’re literally pushing everything that is wrong with social media and privacy rights, is beyond me.

So im Nachhinein, war es schon recht blöd so viel Wissen und Energie in eine zentral gesteuerte Plattform zu stecken, die profitorientiert handeln will. Es ist wirklich jedes Mal nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis jemand in eine Machposition kommt, der die Nutzer nicht an erster Stelle sieht und anfängt die Kuh zu melken.

Und wie so oft, findet sich der beste Witz in den Kommentaren. <3

Es ist Machtmissbrauch und besonders wenn es dabei um junge, beeinflussbare Frauen geht, hat das ganze einen schlechten Beigeschmack.
