The most recent Gunpla I’ve built was my attempt at making a “GM Tank” using the treads from the 30MM tank exa-vehicle as the lower legs. That part didn’t work out too well (the treads are too long, and the bar-and-c-clip attachment point doesn’t work too well as a knee) but I like the way the rest of the build turned out (Ez-SR torso and arms, 30MM Essposito head, Northern Pod backpack, Builders Parts HD cannons, Final Faction arm-guns.)

Before that I made a version of the obscure Transformers character Halogen (he showed up for like two pages in a 2010s comic and was blown up by Megatron) using the Essposito body (same one that I used for the GM Tank,) Ez-SR head and Northen Pod wings. I’m more proud of that one.

And before that I made a “Coronation Starscream” out of the HGBF Wing Zero Honoo (no parts customization here, just paint.) I think that one also turned out pretty well.

Each instance has its own communities and they’re separate from each other. If someone created a /memes/ community on another instance it would be its own thing, but people from other instances would still be able to view it.

To view a community on another instance you’d have to put the instance name in the URL. For example, if there was an instance called “coolinstance.com” with a community called “stuff”, then for users on the coolinstance.com instance the URL for that community would be coolinstance.com/c/stuff. If there was another instance called reallycoolinstance.com, they’d still be able to see the “stuff” community, but to them the URL would be reallycoolinstance.com/c/stuff@coolinstance.com. They’d also be able to create their own “stuff” community, and people on coolinstance.com could access it by going to coolinstance.com/c/stuff@reallycoolinstance.com.

That’s the “American Type” Gundam. It’s an Entry Grade, though, not a High Grade.

My favourite part of Lurkius is when Lurkius said “It’s Lurkin’ time!” and lurked all over those guys.

Nah. I never liked using centralized monoliths like Reddit and other social media sites but stayed there due to lack of alternatives. I’m glad to see a federated network like Lemmy getting enough activity that I can ditch Reddit.

Don’t think so. It’s name isn’t anything like a Zelda game, the main character doesn’t look anything like Link and it doesn’t re-use any Nintendo assets. This isn’t like AM2R where the devs blatantly used characters, settings and story from an existing Nintendo game. All this really has in common with Zelda is its general gameplay concepts, and you can’t copyright those.

Really, this is the approach more fan-games should take.

The Shadowrun games from Harebrained Schemes are some of the best RPGs I’ve ever played, and they all have native Linux versions. Daggerfall’s my favourite, but all three are good.

Is that why the mobile app is called “Jerboa”?
