in gaming@level-up.zone•Lost a bet so I have to get my kids a non-Nintendo system. At this point, is there good reason to go with Xbox over PS5 (or vice versa)?

  1. Do their friends have systems? If so, what’s the most popular, go with that.

  2. Look at Microsofts Gamepass. If youre willing to pay the monthly subscription cost, this is the way to go (assuming #1 doesn’t matter).

  3. If not interested in Gamepass, Playstation has better exclusive games.

Seriously, best part about going is building long sustainable friendships, figure out what their friends play and buy that.

This is coming from a long time Xbox guy (just happened to grow up in the Halo hype days so all my friends and I grew up on Xbox) turned to PC gaming. No bias towards Xbox.
