Im often socially awkward around people I don’t know well, and I have had many failed attempts to get past it. After a while I usually participate more.

It couldn’t be peanuts, because it evaporated or melted when the sun hit it.

Or peanut butter and jelly oatmeal; my favorite!

My guess is more like they found out that several big places were making big bucks off of what they were offering for free, and they want to cash in on the profit being made.
