To get some idea, even on windows if you have your time wrong you cannot open some games and others will work with partial support so, this will never be a thing.

This constantly happens here, I just have to run steam with --reset on terminal so it deletes and redownloads all steam stuff from user directory (except games). It always fixed the issue.

Besides being a lot different I feel the same feelings in chivalry 2 as BF. Is a big arena with a lot of side objectives, the game dinamics are similar, but yeah, not even close to an FPS lol.

Afaik only with very old cards you should use nouveau. Nvidia put some shenanigans on drivers and nouveau team cannot reverse-engineer the new cards.

I just live in a third-world country, it has its own drawbacks tho.

Any log? Without logs is hard to guess what is going on. This page has a section on how to get logs. I never used Heroic personally so Idk if this works, but seems like the official doc.

For me is the lack of class trinity and the base races that I did not enjoy so much. But still is my most played mmo because the world is just incredible for me, everything seems alive like no other MMO
