I’ve had the honor to work at a company which ditched Slack for M$ Teams because they wanted to save cost after paid for whatever fancy Office 365 package MS offered them.

If I worked at M$ on Teams I would just go postal then kill myself out of the shame for shipping such a disgrace of a communication tool.

Yeah. Shutting down indefinitely won’t do any damage considering Reddit has made it clear that they will not change their stance. The community doesn’t have any leverage in the saying and they eventually will be forced to reopen.

Now, advertising alternatives and draining the user by saying they are moving to Discord or Lemmy? It may or may not make a dent but either way it’s still a much louder “fuck you” to spez.

So much this. I’ve had a HP Elitebook 8730w and 1920 × 1200 was such a joy to use.

Was that sub infiltrated or manipulated some way or is it just getting bigger? I had to filter it out on my r/all this year because it’s getting more deranged than r/politics to the point of unbearable.
