Nice! I have an 1150RT as well, they’re such great bikes. I keep thinking of trading in for another touring bike, but can’t bring myself to sell it.

Im liking it. I’m pretty techy, so I got the gist of the whole “distributed” thing real quick. Honestly, it’s also nice that it’s still a smaller community. Feels like the old days of the internet, where you could actually interact with people

I stayed in hotels. Wanted to make sure I had some good rest. (this was back in late April I did this ride)

That sounds like an awesome ride, I’d love to go through the Sierra Nevadas. My ride Was actually one-way, I moved up here, and went back for the bike. It’s such a great highway machine.

Ooo those look good. I just moved from California up to Seattle, so I’m missing tacos like these! Still on the hunt for a good spot

Increased travel times? Induced demand(s)? Warmer temperatures? Dang, I didn’t even notice it happening lol

I know a lot of people weren’t so big on this album when it came out, but I still dig it. I found them a bit later in their career, but they’re still one of my favorite bands of all time, hope they’ve got a few more albums left in em as a group.

I want one so bad. I can just hear the sound of those gear driven cams. I’m a sucker for uncommon engine types too.

Ah interesting! I didn’t know they went back to chain drive at some point. I had the precursor to the vfr - the vf500f - for a while, and it had a normal chain driven setup. Different firing order too, I believe, which gave it a different overall sound.
