Friday, yayyy! I’m well rested, inspired, and ready to have a great day…all with a clear mind. Day 62 for me, I won’t drink poisonous alcohol with all of you today!
Happy Sunday, everyone! Yard work today for me, it will be good to spend time in nature. Hope everyone’s day is just what you need. No poisonous alcohol for me, day 64!
Enjoying the lack of anxiety from sobriety these last few days, so I will not drink alcohol with you all today. Day 6 seems to be back to baseline. Recharging on my day off!
Monday mornings are wayyyy easier after a sober weekend. Day 58, no poisonous alcohol for me today!
I took tomorrow off, can’t wait! I need the rest and recovery. Day 5, I won’t drink poisonous alcohol with you all today!
Woof, I am dragging today! More coffee needed, but alcohol won’t help perk me up, that’s for sure. Funny moment yesterday when I asked the waitress for “hop water” and she brought me a mug of hot water instead! Still better than booze. Day 7 for me, I will not drink alcohol with you all today.
Grateful for this check in, it helped keep me alcohol free last night. Woke up to no hangover, great sleep, and now a relaxing Sunday. I realized I had a craving for alcohol due to discomfort and boredom from our D&D session. I like D&D, I just have a hard time with sitting in one place for 4 hours. Drinking some Oktoberfest NA beers helped me beat the craving. Today is my day to do what I want to do, and I get to do it all with a clear head. Day 17, no poisonous alcohol for me!
Yayyy for Friday! I took a vacation day. I am going to check my rocks in the rock polisher, go for a walk, pick up some pallets, and probably play Baldur’s Gate. Having pizza with the kids this evening, we are going to introduce them to Firefly. I hope everybody has a fantastic day, I won’t be drinking poisonous alcohol with you today. Day 15!

I’m so grateful for this space, thanks to everyone for this community! Woke up rested and happy after a sober DnD session. I find myself waking with the sunrise, even on my days off. Applying for an online professor position today, fingers crossed, this has been a dream goal for 4 years now. No poisonous alcohol in my system today, I make this promise to myself and all of you fine folks!
