that’s cool, i’ve never had anything that severe but it’s funny how the game will just bug out like this sometimes
i feel similarly, they’re pretty silly but still fun to think about!
i don’t usually agree with the end result of the theories he puts out, but he’ll point out interesting facts that build up to it, and i’ll be like “wait ur right, that IS weird…”
yeahh, 5 seconds is way too short. it’s harder to hit than point sensor and weaker in its detecting period? weird
i also had the idea of: if they really want to keep it at 5 seconds, give it some sort of other effect. like say, it causes the enemy to heal their health slower during that period
both of those sound pretty good! i’ve heard that the crosshair weirdness is baked into it, like this post shows. but if they gave it its own mini-crosshair, that would help a lot
XENOBLADE! love this series, i’ll also recommend it. there’s this video i liked that’s like a fanmade ad for the game, here. pretty sure it’s not too spoilery (or the spoilers are just out of context).
since you already mentioned it though, i’ll recommend earthbound. the entire series is really good, but for play order, i’d recommend earthbound -> mother 3 -> mother 1. (any order is fine, since the games are only loosely connected though). such good jrpgs with an upbeat feel to them.
i’ve been playing a celeste mod called strawberry jam, it’s very cool. a ton of mod creators got together and made like one level each (100+ levels), with custom music & new graphics for each one.
if you’ve played celeste you REALLY owe it to yourself to play through this mod it’s kind of incredible how polished it is
seeing this from lemmy, but i’m a splatoon fan!
there don’t seem to be many large splatoon communities, the lemmy.world one seems to have the most users though
i played the first one and really liked it, but then i stopped halfway through the lost age for some reason. the music was cool though
