Once upon a time there wasn’t a good Reddit app for iOS with usability and accessibility like the rest of Apple’s ecosystem. Then comes along Alien Blue, which kicked ass. After a while, Reddit buys Alien Blue and ruins the UI. Apollo then clones Alien Blue and starts improving on it. Apollo quickly became the only way I would use Reddit on my phone. It was a better client than anything Reddit has come up with on their own - I’d wager their official app is unusable for many people.
Memmy is great alternative to Apollo for iOS.
Zero Sievert, think S.T.A.L.K.E.R. but top down.
I think if we all just leave Reddit behind and commit to Lemmy, things will fall into place. I haven’t logged into reddit since the 30th, and things here have been just fine. I’m regularly getting responses to my comments and there’s good discussion everywhere I look on Lemmy. As far as I can see, it’s only a matter of time before it’s “mainstream”.
I saw a few people editing all their Reddit comments/posts with an explanation as to why the info is gone and they also gave a link to where they could find their content reposted on Lemmy. Thought that was pretty clever.
Elite Beat Agents is a must try in my opinion. Contact also has a ton of charm.
Sayonara Umihara Kawase - helluva unique platformer that got an awesome 3ds version.
I know it’s different, but you might enjoy the new Zelda games. The combat is kind of similar with the i-frames and learning attack patterns. It’s definitely more casual.
