any game that feels good to move around in is instantly better than games with less developed movement systems. games like sm64, source bhop/surf, tf2 rocket jumping, etc. why not make it a joy to get from one place to another instead of just moving in a straight line or fast traveling?

i love jacob geller! i only recently got introduced to his videos but he has some of the best written videos about games (and other stuff) on youtube, and he spotlights a lot of indie/obscure art games that i wouldn’t have found and appreciated otherwise.

awesome build! really cool to see a good-looking base that isn’t gigantic and sprawling like a lot of the things that get posted on r/ftb, it inspires me to make better bases.

yep! the only thing i used reddit for (other than funny pictures, which we could all realistically do without) was tech support and discussing linux-related topics. And it seems, at least for now, the userbase swings pretty heavily towards tech savvy people so I’m sure this place will be great :)

i see other people recommending recipes with imitation meat, as an alternative i usually use tvp and season accordingly. definitely not as good in a lot of cases, but it is WAY cheaper and achieves a similar effect if seasoned well.

i don’t make a lot of mexican dishes, but beans and rice is a classic! i like this recipe, but obviously you could make rice and beans any number of ways.

another one is breakfast burritos, if you can consider that mexican, with tofu scramble and all the other stuff you usually enjoy in burritos.

lmao its soooooo cringe to be passionate about animal liberation

its way cooler to enable people who think they are helping animals but in fact are not

he has a bunch of shorter stories that you could easily jump into without any order but i’d recommend reading uzumaki first. its a classic, is one of his longer mangas, and encapsulates a lot of what makes ito’s stories unsettling. i’ve never actually gotten one of the short story collections so i can’t recommend any in particular, but i’ve yet to read an ito manga i regretted reading so i would say just pick whichever one interests you the most.

also, if you’re into cosmic horror, i recommend hellstar remina since i don’t see it talked about as often as his other stories.
