Just found a very interesting article on this!! https://vividmaps.com/central-pangean-mountains/
https://www.brown.edu/news/2016-11-21/appalachians :)) so cool, i love science so much
Not sure if my username gave it away or not, but I’m really into applied mathematics. I’m a physics major right now, & while I don’t immediately see myself studying this in grad school, I think that the physics of Volcanism/Plate Tectonics is extremely fascinating. It certainly looks at the history of the world through a very different lens, but I wouldn’t write it off completely!! The physics of our Earth is a beautiful, beautiful thing. :)
Ever heard of Geophysics? :) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geophysics
“ me no head “
Here for a good time, not a long time
There are a few comments on here that I don’t have the energy to appropriately respond to rn (i’ve gotten 8 hrs of sleep in the past 3 days) (22f physics major in the middle of midterms lol) but i just want to say thank you to every single person on here from the bottom of my heart. Truly. Thank you for making my feelings of loneliness & isolation surrounding this experience melt away. Thank you for giving me a sense of community, for empathizing with me, sharing your experiences, & for giving me all of these resources. You all just seem like such wonderful human beings & I’m so grateful for you all. I hope you all have a beautiful day. I’m gonna try to respond individually to everyone as soon as I can !!!💗💗💗💗💗💗
