Plenty of components of a glock are made out of metal, the entire upper slide of a glock is metal, components in the magazine, trigger mechanism, etc are as well.

Red light is great for a headlamp when you want to preserve your night vision, you’re also walking instead of traveling at +60 mph. Red light also doesn’t provide you with any color differentiation which would be an issue with already existing road lines (yellow vs white) and street signs along with the simple notion that humans are used to light in the full spectrum from the sun.

The biggest issue with headlights is people putting LED lights in older, halogen bulb housings that don’t scatter the light the same as LEDs which leads to blinding lights that are quite bright. Additionally, you get those assholes with lifted trucks that don’t re-aim their headlights and they too add to the annoyance and danger of driving at night.

Better enforcement of existing laws would help, but that’s asking a lot of police these days when they seem to have so many other “better” things to be focusing on. /s

Have you tried warm/hot vinegar in a spray bottle? If you have hard water it could be mineral buildup and some warm vinegar would help dissolve it. If it’s not from hard water it may be trickier, but a super soft bristled brush and some simple gree or other cleaner may work as well.

It’s technically not orange light bulbs they have to use, it’s a specific lamp style called ‘low pressure sodium’

Here’s an article that explains the reasoning behind Hawaii’s lighting sources and the regulations:

So, if the person who is attacking you is much larger, or there are more of them, even if it’s a prank, you’re going to just throw a punch or shove them? What a privileged position you must be in to think you can simply punch or shove an attacker. Say that to the 100lb woman a 250lb guy is advancing on, she should just shove him, right?

Look, I don’t know if you’re ignorant or trolling, but if someone is acting like they’re going to attack someone and they have justifiable reason to fear for their life, then deadly force is a reasonable response. I’m not going to get the shit beat out of me, or killed, because “hey, it might just be a prank.”

When I was working as an engineer I used both autocad and revit, autodesk has been a piece of shit company for a long, long time. Their greed knows no limits and unfortunately they have convinced their markets that the cost of working with them is just “the cost of doing business”.

I’d love to see the day they crash and burn as a company, but I have a feeling that’s just a far fetched dream.

Long story cut alittle short, I’m a forgiving person and I CAN forgive her.

You can forgive her, but don’t take her back. She cheated on you many times and if she justified it previously, she’ll justify it again. The same applies to all people who cheat on their significant others. They lack integrity to end a relationship if they want to pursue casual sex, relationships, etc with other people, so the next time some dude comes along and tempts her, if she’s interested she’ll cheat again because if you take her back now, she’ll know that you’ll forgive her and accept her back again.

I’m sorry you’re going through this, but these events don’t happen in a good relationship. Forgive her if you need to and move on without her. Take some time to yourself, heal, and find a partner that wants to be with you and only you.

It’s always good to have a backup heat source if you live in a cold climate, but heat pumps have progressed a fair bit with running at lower ambient temperatures. Many manufacturers have models that can run down to, or below, 0°F. However, those models usually are a fair bit more costly, so it makes sense to evaluate how often it dips below the low ambient cutoff for the heat pump and the cost and type of your backup heat to determine the most economical route.
