Where is Russia 2 miles from Alaska? It’s about 50ish miles. Last I checked, it’s also not a great place to start a ground invasion. The US could blow the shit out of that area of Alaska and nothing much would be missed.

Fleeing to another country and not returning would make holding individuals who do owe child support much harder…

Napoleon Dynamite. Tried watching it a few times with friends who insisted it was funny. I just found it more annoying than funny.

So you don’t think you should be held accountable for the rules of the place you’re in and for trying to escape?

And how do people know that? How do they know you’re not pretending to not be a nutcase?

Do you understand that people can pretend to be kind, normal, etc as a way to sneak things in?

I’m sorry you had to go through these things, but you seem to lack some serious awareness of others.

Do you really think that the scale of the US invasion of Iraq would have been different if the NYT hadn’t posted that story?

The NYT mistakes caused hundreds of thousands of deaths that you say are genocide? Please enlighten me on how this is the case because it sounds a lot like hyperbole.

You seem to be just a pissed-off person who wants to lash out at things/people/organizations and think that if something isn’t perfectly aligned with your views, then it’s evil/bad/etc. I’d like to suggest stepping outside and taking a deep breath.

New flash, the world does not revolve around you. If it’s legal, or the hotel lets people, smoke outside of their rooms, then find another place to stay. If it’s illegal or the hotel doesn’t allow it, call the front desk.

Outside of that, mind your own business… as previously stated, the world doesn’t revolve around you.
