Florida isn’t even a swing state anymore, so the gusano vote shouldn’t matter to the Democrats. They have no “good” reason to continue the blockade.

Brandon is hitting Cuba with the hurricane and earthquake guns in a desperate attempt to defeat the revolution before he leaves office.

I think the coating itself should be rough and porous to absorb radar properly, but the actual shapes of the surfaces should be flat to reflect (away from the radar source) anything that doesn’t get absorbed.

Both are multirole stealth fighters with naval variants, so yes, they are roughly equivalents. China needed something a bit more flexible in doctrine than the J-20 (land-based air superiority only), and this is that.

I’m no expert, but the J-35 does indeed seem much simpler and likely easier to maintain.

More pretty images of China’s J-35A from the Zhuhai airshow, this time in flight.

Look how clean the underside is compared to the F-35:

Ansarallah took down another US Reaper drone.

What’s the count at now? 13? Why do they just keep sending them???

That sounds like a tacit defeat for Russia to me. I don’t think Putin will accept that.

Russia’s main goal is to prevent a fascist, Russophobic, heavily-armed NATO member on its borders, which is why they were willing to pull out in 2022 for a guarantee that Ukraine would remain neutral. Territory isn’t really that important.

Ukrainian sources (grain of salt) say a new major Russian counteroffensive started in Kursk with many armored vehicles.

I’m inclined to believe it, because I saw some signs a month ago:

I saw a few videos recently of large train shipments of vehicles with North Group markings. Notably, there were lots of MRAPs, which I’m starting to think are a good indicator of planned offensives (both Russia and Ukraine seem to use them that way).

By the way, I bet the troops involved in this are Russians, not North Koreans. If there really are 10k soldiers from the DPRK, I suspect they’ll be kept near the border as a rapid response unit in case Ukraine tries anything elsewhere.

Write-ins got 1.28% of the vote in New York, or 101,340 votes. I don’t know what the candidate breakdown looks like, but still, the total is pretty impressive.

For context, no third party presidential candidates got ballot access due to the Democrats’ voter suppression efforts.
