How would someone schedule a tour? I’m not far from Denver and would LOVE to see how my thelio was made!

You can download it directly from the software center by going into desktop mode! It runs like it normally would on any desktop, although you either need to enter desktop mode after restarts/power off to ensure its on. Feel free to send a message if you need help!

The opposite of dystopian, this seems like a great thing. And this isn’t even raising tax rates; just enforcing the laws we already have.

Just out of curiosity, why do you all think Lemmy is more positive?

I wonder if the slightly more difficult step of federating with an instance is keeping some of the more negative people away.

I’m not in Baltimore, but I’ve been seeing a lot of these posts on my feed.

I really love the engagement that this account is bringing to the community, I wish my municipality would do the same!

One topic that I believe is related is the decision not to have children.

My wife attempted to get her tubes tied, and every doctor turned her down because she was too young.

Despite being the same age, the first doctor I spoke to agreed to a vasectomy without Amy pushback.

One common complaint I’ve seen with Reddit is the negativity. I’m really hoping that the freshness of Lemmy allows the opportunity for a more positive environment.

Maybe the slight difficulty of joining a Lemmy instance will keep more negative folks away, too.
