Estoy empezando ahora en el fediverso y, como todos imagino, lo que más dudas me genera son las instancias y su interconexión.
¿Si he abierto cuernta en Lemmy.word como haría para interactuar con eslemmy.es o con cualquier otra instancia?
I’ve used an adblock for more than a decade now. At work, due to security reasons, the way we connect to internet is quite restricted and I don’t have an adblock. Internet experience is terrible with that, like unusable. Most websites you barely can find what you are looking for, and the annoyance is constant. It’s like a nightmare every time I have to use it that way.
Easy, looking for information I will still use reddit, for now. But for posting new information I will use Lemmy.
Iphone is incredibly expensive. IOs seems much more restrictive than Android. There’s a bigger offer of different phones and manufactures in Android. Most people in my country use Android.
I like to think myself as a power users and federations have been confusing in Lemmy and Mastodon for sure.
But in Mastodon more confusing than in Lemmy, I think it’s because the better interface of Lemmy and the ease to interact and follow other instances. I just think is a matter of interface and an well-thought integrated migration process so people could move between instances much easier if needed.
hi! I got my ps1 ant about 9 yo. I remember it came with a demo disk which included about 10-15 demos or so. The two I remember more are the Oddworld: Abe Oddysee and Crash Bandicoot 2. To this day I am still deeply in love with my memories with those two games, both playing the demo again and again, and when I finally got my hands on the full games and got to enjoy them at them fullest.
100% agree with those points. The whole fediverse has still those things to figure out. In Mastodon account migration is not really there, AFAIK you can basically make a copy of your followers and link your old account to the new one, but your posts and data get stuck in the old account.
The fediverse is still in beta and I’m sure developers would tackle those issues sooner or latter.
No, I am you father, you piece of shit!
People switching to Lemmy: I’ll do what I must.
Bought mine a year ago, still using it every week. Mostly for fries, croquettes and fried calamari.
Convenient to use, and I don’t use as much oil as if I was deep frying in oil.
