“Catholic Integralism” sounds like all the things Protestants were worried that Kennedy would do in the 60s if he was elected. Now the Protestants and Catholics get along, at least while it is politically expedient, so there isn’t so much hand wringing about it.

If there is an actual primary, it will not be with actual voters, but amongst the named delegates (99% of whom are pledged to Biden and are obligated to vote for him of he is still in the race) and the superdelegates.

Moderate Democrats like Harris are like broccoli. Nobody really wants it, it’s not the highlight of the meal, but you need your veggies to get the proper nutrients to fight fascism. (Plus, if your diet has too little fiber you end up full of shit.)

Its not her fault, the Right has built up a caricature of her and their media has pushed that caricature for years. So as much as Democrats love her and her positions, Republicans hate her and the lies they are fed every day about her positions.

AOC has time. If I were writing the script, I would go with Harris/Whitmer, followed by Whitmer/AOC. Assuming each ticket wins two terms, AOC would be in her 50’s then and be one of the most qualified candidates in 2040.
