I did the same, 12+ years. I was an Alien Blue user till they bought it and spezzed it up, then I found Apollo and never looked back. I debated waiting, but at this point I just can’t support that platform anymore, even if they do try to backtrack.

to be fair, reddit strung them along and made them think it was all smooth sailing until about last week. The devs have to figure out what they even plan to do before they can start announcing plans. And there aren’t any real fully developed apps yet from what I can tell. I think, given some time, these developers may move their apps over or create new apps

I believe you can also back up your reddit comments and posts with Power Delete Suite before the 30th, just be sure not to click the delete or modify post options if you don’t want to do that

So I overwrite my posts and deleted with power delete suite, then deleted my account, and I’ve gone back and looked for my most recent posts and comments and they are still indeed gone.

I’m wondering if some people ran it while subs are already private and it simply wasn’t able to remove those posts and they didn’t show up until the subs became active again?

Not sure, but it’s not everyone that’s affected apparently.
