Personally I’m not a fan of the open world part; the best parts of Elden Ring for me are the legacy dungeons and boss fights.

When I saw how much worse Asmingold was playing than me and still making progress 😂

Backwards Compatibility. I want this so much so that if the Switch 2 isn’t backwards compatible, I’m very unlikely to buy one.

IMO Steam OS is the “Windows” for handhelds. Sure there will be lots of variants of Linux with custom skins (hell even Windows itself). However, I think Steam OS has already established itself as a comfortable default for most people due to how optimized the UI is for handhelds and the fact it works out of the box for most PC games without any tinkering 🙂

Imagine being so materialistic that you reject friends based on what brand phone they use. I wouldn’t piss on someone like that if they were on fire.

This is why you should never adopt Google services, there’s a high chance they will kill it off given their awful track record.

True, but it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t preserve them just the same.

In reality, if you’re a mid or large sized business, it won’t make any difference. My company continues to pay for RHEL for the piece of mind of knowing we get support (even though we never use it!)

I can totally see enthusiasts and small businesses going with cheaper options (aka free!)

Call me a filthy casual or whatever, but I use Windows, Linux and macOS equally. My preference is Linux but I don’t limit myself by just pretending the other two options don’t exist :)
