Vi, vie, voe, vim. I will not explain further.
I definitely think so (plus I think it’s a great game now, even though it was hot garbage at launch). The continuing updates are 100% a labor of love at this point, I’m sure they still sell more copies each update, but not enough to justify the cost if they weren’t wanting to work on it. I love me a good labor of love game.
They’ve also been working on Light No Fire for ~6 years at this point so they’ve been doing more than just making new content for NMS this whole time
Linux doesn’t force automatic updates into your system.
On windows, the changes go out to everyone all at once. You figure out there’s a problem at the same time as everyone else on windows.
On Linux (with a good it department), pending app/os updates get pulled to testing machine, test to make sure it still works, have supported machines pull down that version.
There’s plenty to do - it’s just sandbox based. There are some questlines you can do, but it’s largely meant to be an exploration sandbox game, not something that you’re constantly rushing from quest to quest with everything scripted out linearly or have a clear end game, the end game is to do whatever you want
Games were over hyped, released buggy, and lacking a ton of features long before no mans sky, nms was just one of the most over hyped - it’s also by far the biggest redemption since it now has significantly more content than was ever promised at launch, and all of it has come free instead of in a ton of dlc’s or with monetization
A lot of pasta sauces have butter in them, personally my favorite pasta sauce is a homemade tomato sauce by Alton Brown (https://altonbrown.com/recipes/pantry-friendly-tomato-sauce/ ), it’s vegan even though I’m not.
I usually do a double batch once a month (more or less, depends on how quick we use it) and it fills up 3 32 oz mason jars with 4-8 oz extra. It’s amazing on pasta, pizza, eggs, burgers, meatballs, pretty much anything that’s good with tomato. Cheaper and tastier than buying jarred tomato sauce by far, plus you can make it as chunky or smooth as you want by how much you blend it. Only costs a few bucks to make too.
You sound like my semi-racist MIL who thinks anything coming out of a china is inherently a cheap piece of shit and American made is guaranteed better quality and super safe. The quality of these EV’s is comparable to anything american made, American car companies just don’t want to lower their markups. There’s a reason why the big three (Honda, Toyota, Ford) throw over $10 million a year at politicians via lobbying.
