The ones I see who are against WFH the hardest have pretty awful family lives and don’t want to admit it to themselves. They need the break from the shitty family they can’t face or deal with more than is absolutely necessary.

How the turn tables…

I don’t think I can recommend True NAS for beginners over Unraid. I started down this road about a year ago and did start with Truenas. The apps have been nothing but trouble for me and I’ve read similar from several others. I’m in the process of moving to Unraid now because of it as well as sharing permissions causing performance issues.

I’m impressed by the idea that people can still afford to live alone.

It bothers me a bit, but you’re blaming the wrong person here. The problem isn’t the person using a valid service. The problem is the capitalist machine treating people like shit. The stores having awful inventory management software or over burdening employees is not the customers fault.

I talk often with the pick up and go crew. They like their job and seem to be treated reasonably well given the late-stage capitalism we’re all living in. If I found out they were miserable I wouldn’t order anymore. I do find out about flaws in the system and do what I can to remedy that on my end.
