I found out from the rest is politics podcast that she’s a Buddhist, Erasmus scholar and previously worked alongside Cherie Blair on the Africa Justice Foundation.
It just seems like such a paradox, and maybe it is just a ploy to appeal to the far right lunatics in the Conservative Party in order to become leader one day.

The sheer scale of the China industrial complex equal parts impresses and scares me, but nevertheless this is a huge achievement.
It’s always quite interesting that western governments like to try and lay blame at China’s door (despite the US still being the largest historical carbon emitter) but here they are shattering renewable energy records. We need other governments to do this sort of thing.
