They’ve been bombing Syria for years now, actually. The reason is because Israel wants to dominate the entire Middle East and will destroy any and all countries that stand in their way.

Is this mostly from domestic sales? If not, I wonder how mounting tariffs and perhaps even outright bans will affect this.

Given these polls, one would think that the democratic party wouldn’t be so supportive of israel, the far-right party in charge there, and its campaign of genocide, yet the party keeps going full throttle all-in on support. Democrats like to use the excuse of their hands being tied, but their hands aren’t tied here. In fact, if democrats did nothing it would be an improvement, because they’re actually putting in the extra effort to increase funding to israel and vetoing UN resolutions against them.

We have to keep paying high prices to oligopolies for national security reasons, huh? That’s a new one. It’s okay, the environment can wait and the price of gas is pretty cheap these days anyway, so the externalities there don’t matter.

That wasn’t the reason why democrats lost in 2016.

I wish we’d yell at democrats for failing to appeal to voters, which is really one of the most basic responsibilities of a politician.

I responded to someone claiming that there have been protests against this campaign of violence. It’s useful to know where everybody stands to know who would be willing to move toward peace.
