Das “touchpad selber funktioniert” meint, dass es grundsätzlich funktioniert oder, dass es auch nach dem booten immer funktikoniert, nur der Cursor grafisch nicht amgezeigt wird?
In ersterem Fall, würde ich mal alle Energiesparoptionen deaktivieren. Ich kenne so Probleme von powertop z.B.

1.) ja. 2 Kinder, Kind 2 in gleichem Alter. Erstes Kind hat den ersten Monat nur in der Trage geschlafen. Also auch nachts. Wir haben dadurch aber immer im Wechsel 3-4h Schlaf bekommen. Aber die Wachphasen waren bestimmt 3 Monate lang in Summe mindestens 5h/24h Schreien am Tag. Anstrengend. Kind 2 war von Anfang an nachts viel entspannter, aber beide Kinder haben die ersten Monate auf meiner Frau geschlafen (und die dementsprechend mehr sitzend als liegend). Wir haben irgendwann akzeptiert, dass man so eben viel bis alles liegen lässt (Hobby, Haushalt, etc.). Aber : es geht definitiv vorbei. Wir haben gesagt mit einem Jahr wurde es viel entspannter, aber auch vorher schon in Maßen.
2.) Jedes Kind ist einfach anders. Kind 2 bei uns hatte von Anfang an den viel besseren Nachtschlaf. Eine Freundin hat ein Kind das schläft einfach so unter dem Mobilé ein Unvorstellbar. Und ich denke auch eine Ausnahme.

Your account can be closed due to various reasons, you accidentally delete files, some malware deletes files without you noticing it before it is too late.
A friend of mine lost some important data because of the ovh server container fire incident. Ovh had no backups.

Aber ich finde die Selbstständigkeit relativiert das hier. Das sind keine Arbeitnehmerlöhne.
Als passabler 0815 IT freelancer sollten 100€ / Stunde drin sein. Da sind wir ganz schnell bei 200k Brutto (was sollen die Nettogehälter hier). Und dafür ist in der Theorie nicht mal eine Ausbildung für notwendig.
Anwälte (mit auch eher längerer Ausbildung) bekommen 180-300€ Stundensatz. Die sind schnell bei ner halben Millionen.
Zum anderen aber: Selbst wenn es Arbeitnehmer Löhne wären in dem kuscheligsten Job der Welt. Wenn die Gehälter nicht zum Markt passen, also z.B. im europäischen Ausland massiv mehr bezahlt wird oder viel entspanntere Jobs in Deutschland viel mehr Geld bringen, dann muss das Gehalt angepasst werden.
Wir alle brauchen Ärzte und wir haben nichts gewonnen, wenn die ins Ausland abwandern.
What is wrong with cramming shit in a closet like that? Obviously one wastes some space. But it is a trade off. Cram the shit in and save time at cost of space or fold everything at cost of time wasting less space.
Like data compression. And compression level depends on use case respectively CPU vs storage / bandwidth / cost.
Btw. I am more on the left side (including my wife) and I don’t see any disadvantages given enough space. Usually, I choose for clothing the first T-shirt, pants, socks, etc. I get in my hands. If colors really are not working together (5% of the time) I swap against the second clothing I grab. If two socks don’t match: I couldn’t care less.
And I’d say I blend into society. I just care less than other people about clothes. I wear the stuff which my dad stopped wearing because they are 20 years old and ugly. And I am writing this long comment because I think more people should think like that.
Have been a fan of a what I called “simplified” git flow until recently when I realized I am basically doing trunk based branching with two trunks (Main and dev). The static dev branch had its appeal for static deployments (no test deploy from varying feature branch, but still not main); however, for gitops and for general simplicity forcing yourself and the team to main has its advantages. E.g knowing that every deployment is from main.
