I don’t know if I have an answer for that. My most active reddit was my local city sub (r/stlouis) and I spend a lot of time and got a lot of good information from there. It just really bums me out, but I’m looking forward to seeing how this whole deal works here.
Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect, and the NHL/MLB games are always my go-to when I just want to chill out and be comfortable. There’s lots of comfort in being “with” some of your favorite characters time and time again. There’s a different comfort (more of a zen feeling) in booting up my favorite sports games, turning off my brain and just letting instinct and reflex take over. Most Friday nights at the end of a tough week, I play MLB with some beers until late in the night after my friends log off.
I’m actually replaying it right now. My wife went out of town for a weekend so I resubbed to Gamepass and decided to see if anything would hold my interest. The ones that did were DA:O and Hi-Fi Rush. I’ve got almost 20 hours now into this replay of DA:O and I’m happy with how well it holds up to this day. I play on casual difficulty because I just wanted to go through the story again but it’s so good. I really hope they can deliver a more classic experience in DA4 rather than pack it with bloat like they did in Inquisition.
I was surprised how much I enjoyed the monster catching systems and subsequently the battle system in Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. So much so, that I got the platinum trophy in both the PS3 and PS4 versions. I loved that the battles were technically in real time but with cooldowns for each character and their familiars, and I appreciated that the characters (3 of them) are on the battlefield WITH the familiars rather than either/or. This meant I could deal some damage to exploit enemy weakness using the main characters while some of the familiars tanked damage and all that. It wasn’t perfect but it really resonated with me.
This guy is such a weasel, holy shit. He comes off as incredibly bitter.
So the Now for Reddit creator says he’s been flat-out ignored for 3 months and he’s panicking, he doesn’t want to lose 10 years of work. Spez replies "Apologies for the delay. We are responding now.

The sheer incompetence of this man, holy shit. Now for Reddit is the app I have used for years, no way will I use the awful official app over that, ever.
