That really depends on the distro, most of them, no.

We have a Swiss guy at the farm for a tourist work stay but would like to continue on for a few more months if we could pay him. I haven’t had much luck finding out how to sponsor him and it supposedly takes a long time to get a work visa if you’re already in the country. Any advice? Alberta BTW.

I’d use ME before the adware that is the current version. It wasn’t that bad, it was just Win98 with some visual slop on top that crashed slightly more often.

Not if the Russians and Saudis keep buying to prop it up. Which has no doubt been the plan all along.

If you’re concerned about missing emails, you might want to sign up for a forwarder instead. I don’t see the point of running an email server that’s going to be off for long periods of time.

Generally it’s not going to put you on a blacklist if a sending server doesn’t manage to send, but some have very short queue times before they’ll drop it, so you’re going to miss a lot of mail that way.
