I am against animal agriculture for the same reason I am against sexism, racism, ableism, classism and homophobia.

The circumstances of a creatures birth does not dictate what it is “meant for”, every one deserves to live happy, healthily and with dignity, but some simply want to live.

Direct message

I surely do get the reference. That didn’t need to be explained and it doesn’t really engage with what I was saying.

Even at the time, many butch lesbians made it known that they did not appreciate that particular word being used as an insult. It’s a reclaimed term that once was only ever used as an insult but instead now people used as a self descriptor, much like “dyke” or “queer”. So when a straight person uses those terms as a insult, it generates a lot of side eye. It’s easy enough to call yourself an ally, but it shows your true thoughts when you lean on homophobic tropes. Just as jokey misgendering is not appreciated among the trans community.

I’m not tying to be the fun police but as a queer woman, with many dyke, butch, and trans friends. I just want you to understand that the community as a whole, reads this sort of thing as outdated boomer cringe.

Using butch and misgendering as an insult. Hahahaha.

I’ll eat my downvotes, Idc. But can we not? This is literally just bigot boomer humor.

Train to Busan is without a doubt the best zombie movie I have ever seen.

I played it for the very first time a few months ago and honestly became obsessed with it for a few weeks. If the game looks like something you would be into then it’s absolutely worth $25.

In addition, the individual has been ordered to delete all instances of insulting and slanderous remarks and to refrain from similar acts in the future.

When you are so toxic that it requires a court order. I don’t know who needs to hear it, but online life IS real life. When you are harassing people who work for a company online, then you are no different than the person yelling at cashiers in the supermarket.

I came SOOO close to putting that idiom in my response because I could see it a mile away. But what I, and the protestors themselves are saying, is that a electric cyber truck isn’t even “good”.

This is an odd argument to make for a vegan. Because both of those farms need dismantling. Just like electric AND gas cars need to be phased out. While I can agree all these things do inequal damage, it’s STILL damage. Electric cars are a step but absolutely NOT a solution to climate change. Removing gas from the situation is well enough, but we need mass transit and rebuilt infrastructures to support it.

It’s wise to protest the placebo so people start seeking the cure. Especially when the placebo comes in a oversized impractical truck for.

when I’m about to have them hundreds of dollars getting my busted-ass, POS car fixed?

As someone who has only ever driven broken down POS, I feel for you OP. Focus on getting it running, not making it perfect. Wishing you well and hoping it’s cheap! <3

The Cybertruck weighs almost three tons, so its enormous weight means it consumes an absurdly high amount of energy. Senseless waste that we as a society cannot afford. Add to that the sharp-edged construction: a safety disaster. The truck perfectly illustrates where the anti-social policies of the last few decades have led us: a few rich people drive well-armored into the disaster – and take everyone with them.
