howwwwww. i have a pretty nice amd chip and radeon graphics card, on arch with wayland. i get stuttering, which i read was normal, on my more intensive games like dead space. deep rock galactic i can’t play with my friends and it also stutters…what were the small issues you troubleshooted?

they’re a cultural phenomenon, but rest assured it’s not really a thing here either. the vast majority of people either don’t care or reasonably think supernatural/extraterrestrial uap’s aren’t really a thing. there’s just a shit-ton of people here so it feels like it is.

congresspeople taking it seriously doesn’t mean much. they also take climate denial seriously. they took anti vaccines seriously. they’re just laywers, by and large. they don’t actually know much of anything about science or the probability of aliens visiting or whatever.

as a (former) astronomer, let me tell you that even if there does exist life in the universe outside of our own, even if these lifeforms travel these vast distances fast (somehow, the physics isn’t really clear), even if these supposed spacecraft are manned, the probability of anything visiting earth is infinitesimally small. the universe is just too big and empty. think about it, space has on average a single hydrogen atom per cubic meter. on earth an equivalent volume of air, let’s say, holds 10^25 atoms. and throughout billions of lightyears of this dark, empty vacuum you stumble upon…us? it just doesn’t make any sense when you think about it. sure, the idea of aliens visiting is cool but at the end of the day, it aint happenin

fe7, and im so glad. my mom took us to gamestop and i was being an asshole wanting a new game, which she didn’t want to buy. used or nothing. checking out the gba carts, idk what drew me to it, but i picked up the original fire emblem. i was blown away and it’s been my favorite franchise ever since after metal gear solid.

i dont necessarily want a fe7 remake, but i really want the next fe remake to be like an hd pixelated one like octopath traveler or smt. not a fan of the 3d models and all that lol
