It’s not very important on a basic server, like kbin.social or mstdn.social. But the people on mstdn.lgbt probably like the fact that they’re on an LGBT server.

Oh, I know this one! A bunch of Nazis are going to get together, vote out the mods of transgender/gay/Jewish subreddits, and turn them into uber-right-wing hate parades.

Nothing says “loving and respecting others” quite like following Andrew Tate.

@JuicyShaqMeat Some of the mods feel that the backtracking Reddit has done on the API changes isn’t good enough.

And at least one group of mods actually threw a fit over people not realizing they were doing a boycott, and people were messaging them for access to the private sub.

I can confirm cats have emotions. Mostly annoyance, anger, and vengeance.

I have yet to profit a single dime off of Reddit. After over ten years (11th Cake Day is coming up), and nothing to show for it but piles of worthless Karma.

“I’m not looking for a fight, but I am going to say this thing that invalidates the reality of an entire class of people.”

No. That’s not an “acceptable viewpoint”. Tolerance of the intolerant is intolerable.

But that said, if you spend most of your time here talking about normal topics and stay off the anti-trans bullshit, you won’t be banned.

That’s the standard cycle when it comes to these migrations.

  1. People get angry with the old platform.
  2. People find or make a new platform.
  3. People bitch about the old platform on the new platform.
  4. People either go back to the old platform or stay on the new one and forget about the old one.
