Yeah, people successfully compiled and ran the game within a few days of the leak.

I tried myself but I didn’t get it to work. But I’m no developer and I tried doing it in a VM (no way those files touch my real computer) which was annoying so I gave up quite quickly.

People have successfully compiled GTA V if that is what you are saying.

Of course no one would make another game using leaked tools, that would be incredibly stupid.

Yeah, my work also survived perfectly fine.

It pays off to use Windows and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and not Crowdstrike.

I wish I could but it’s a bit too far for me. It would take 1 and a half hours (29 km)

Security definition updates can be installed without rebooting.

And Crowdstrike is a more advanced system compared to normal antivirus you would use at home. It’s an endpoint protection system that does more than scan for viruses.

Microsoft offers their own alternative called Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

Both Crowdstrike and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint are available on Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
