If you are doing just local syncs the simplest solution might be rsync.

As for a solution with nice software clients, I use Seafile. Nextcloud is nice but it’s incredibly slow to sync files in my experience.

Another local option might be syncthing.

As for backup I use Rclone to do encrypted backups to GCPs Archive Srorage tier. The price is really good at $0.0012 USD / GB. 1TB of backups is like $1.25 USD per month. Be warned though retrieval costs are high.

Crazy that it was programmed that way. Exponential back off is like big scale programing 101.

I would actually bet that emulating a PS4 would be easier compared to the PS3. You would be emulating x86_64 on top of x86_64 instead of PPC/Cell on top of x86_64.

Nice. Let’s pump up nuclear and renewable. We need to drop CO2 asap.

I can’t speak for those two products but I quite like PhotoPrism. It does a decent job at auto tagging my photos.

Maybe buying a single seat enterprise license of Microsoft365 might work for you. Microsoft treats enterprise clients very differently than end users. Only (potential) down side is that you will have to set your own security policies and manage a bunch of things that go beyond a calendar. There is a bonus though. A single enterprise seat license includes 1TB of private-ish enterprise cloud storage.
