Same. I was 9 years 10 months deep into Reddit, just shy of putting in a dime, all through RiF, and I’ll miss some of the super niche communities I found there.

Today was my first day on the Fediverse via Lemmy.world, and I was so happy to see a Futurama Community among the top posts right when I logged in!

Came back to this thread to say I LOVE Strange New Worlds so far! I liked Picard well enough, but just couldn’t get into Discovery after a couple tries, though I can’t articulate why (???). SNW seems to hit just right.

Oh, that’s a good point. I love all the Mars-related episodes, especially with Amy’s family and the native Martians. Hopefully How the West Was Won gives us some good new Martian content!

My husband is diagnosed autistic and he told me “babe, I think you might be on the spectrum.” Then just a week later, totally unprompted, my therapist ALSO told me she thinks I’m probably on the spectrum. That’s when I took the hint. 😅
