I’m very new, but Mlem has been great. Took me 5 minutes to install both test Flight and Mlem, enjoying the interface.

EXACTLY. Quality over Quantity. I mean even Reddit pre-exodus, like there was great intelligent conversations and threads… but sooooo much garbage in between. The signal to noise ratio sucked. I’m loving the small but high quality posts and conversations im seeing on Lemmy in comparison.

Laws won’t stop people drinking and causing a nuisance. They won’t drink more now because it’s legal.

But now I can go to the park and have a beer with some friends after work. Sadly I can’t afford to rent somewhere with a back yard, public parks other areas are an important part of the collective public health, and cracking a cold one at the same time, well, no complaints here.

That post seems broken, I can’t comment to it from Memmy.
